Welcome to Ketton

Your Parish Council is the closest tier

of local government to you

On this website you will find all you need to know about village life, including information, village amenities and village events. The site is managed by Ketton Parish Council. Please check out the Parish Council’ tab for information about your Parish Council, who they are, and the decisions they make.

Ketton is a historic village, and parking for visitors can be a challenge. We encourage people to cycle or use public transport where possible. However if you arrive by car, please be mindful of resident access to their properties, respect no parking signs, and avoid parking for a long time outside of the shop during opening hours.

Ketton is a large village in the beautiful rural county of Rutland, and just 3.5 miles from the historic Georgian town of Stamford.

The village is a great place to live for people of all ages with a post office, a primary school, a library, pubs, exceptional green spaces, a large play area, a sports complex and 3 churches. We are a strong community with many community groups run by local volunteers, and great events happening all year round. Find out more in ‘Your Village’ tab.

The voice of local people.

All members of the public are entitled to attend the meeting and are cordially invited by the Council to do so.  Time will be set aside prior to the published agenda to enable informal discussion to take place.

Agendas will be posted on notice boards and this website
